Abs Six-Pack Surgery: Abdominal Etching in Thailand

Abs Surgery Procedures, Methods, Benefits and Post-Op Care

Abs Surgery Procedures, Methods, Benefits and Post-Op Care

Many men and women devote a lot of time and effort to build abdominal muscles and more muscle definition. However, not everybody can achieve the athletic six-pack definition with just diet and exercise, even with strenuous abdominal activities.

Abdominal Six-Pack Implants, Male Ab Implants procedure or Abdominal Etching procedure is a type of aesthetic plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery that involves removing excess fat around the patient’s abdominal area and abs muscles. Ab Implant Surgery can be performed by plastic surgeons in conjunction with Liposuction to remove fat from other areas, such as the flanks and lower back.

Like Liposuction, Six-Pack Surgery removes fat deposits from underneath your skin. However, instead of removing fat from the midsection, this type of cosmetic procedure molds and shapes a patient’s abdominal wall to give the abdominal muscle look an extremely defined appearance.

When done carefully by an experienced doctor, Abdominal Etching can significantly deepen the natural grooves on a patient’s body and result in a visibly toned midsection and sculpted stomach, significantly improving the male aesthetics.

VASER Abdominal Six-Pack Surgery

VASER Abdominal Six-Pack Surgery is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat the entire abdomen. The clinician will create several small incisions in hidden regions throughout the abdomen wherein a VASER probe would be inserted.

The VASER would melt away and remove fat from the superficial layer and deep layer to help create more defined abdominal muscles above the navel.

The VASER technique could only remove subcutaneous fat deposits found underneath the skin. This procedure cannot remove excess intra-abdominal fat, which is located in between a patient’s organs and torso.

Abdominal Six-Pack Surgery can also be performed on female patients and would follow the same procedure like that done in males.

Who is a good candidate for Six-Pack Surgery?

As with any surgical procedure, a patient must meet a certain set of criteria. The ideal candidate for Abdominal Six-Pack Surgery should meet the following factors:

Risks and side effects of Six-Pack Surgery

Abdominal Six-Pack Surgery is considered a low-risk cosmetic procedure. Having said that, the surgery still comes with a risk of complications and side effects.  Some common complications and side effects of Abdominal Etching include:

  • Nerve and blood vessel damage
  • Skin discoloration
  • Bumpy skin
  • Swelling

Questions to ask your surgeon before Abdominal etching/Abdominal Implants

A board-certified plastic surgeon will take care to answer every question that a patient may pose before and after performing any procedures. It is often advised for a patient to list the questions on a paper in advance of the initial consultation.

Some key questions to ask a specialist plastic surgeon before any surgery include:

  • Are you a board-certified plastic surgeon?
  • How many years of experience do you have in cosmetic surgery or reconstructive surgery?
  • Do you have specific experiences with procedures in the abdominal region?
  • Are the results I am seeking realistic?
  • What are the limitations of this surgery?
  • Will there be visible scarring?
  • Would I need pain medication during my recovery period?
  • What is the treatment plan?
  • Are there any concerns that I should be aware of before undergoing surgery?
  • Will I receive general anesthesia during the procedure?
  • Is there an alternative procedure I can take to get defined abs?
