At Transgender Thailand, we recognise the need to adopt and implement a comprehensive range of procedures as a professional and conscientious travel agency, including health and safety best practices in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Of course, the well-being of our clients, hoteliers, and team members is our main priority. As such, we have introduced some new initiatives to ensure our suppliers maintain the highest hygiene levels while guaranteeing that our guest’s experience isn’t diminished in any way.
[AS OF JULY 2022] Travelers hoping to visit Thailand will only be required to show one COVID-related document to enter. These documents could either be a vaccination certificate, a negative PCR test result, or a negative antigen test result that was administered by a healthcare professional.
Anyone age 18 and older must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at least two weeks before flying into Thailand.
Travellers who are unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and fly into Thailand without a negative result are required to pay for and take a COVID-19 test on-site. People who test positive for the virus are expected to cover for any medical expenses they incur in Thailand.
All travellers who test negative for COVID-19 are allowed to go anywhere in Thailand. However, travellers coming into the kingdom by land using a border pass will only be allowed a stay of no longer than 3 days within specific areas.
